The Centre of Excellence for Environmental Protection in Sabaudia is continuing to expand its international profile. In recent months, CoEEP has hosted training activities for foreign personnel as well, including members of Spain’s Guardia Civil specialized in nature protection, with courses focused on forest fire analysis and technical-scientific investigation methods. The facility, which has been recently upgraded, also welcomes delegations and officials from several countries, confirming its role as an advanced English-language training hub on environmental issues. This direction is further confirmed by the Italian Defence 2026-2027 training catalogue, which lists a broad range of CoEEP courses covering climate change, biodiversity, protected areas, wildfires, pollution and illegal waste trafficking.
