CoEEP in Sabaudia expands its international training offer on strategic environmental protection issues

The Centre of Excellence for Environmental Protection in Sabaudia confirms its role as an international hub for advanced training in the protection of the environment, biodiversity and ecosystems. Established with a specific vocation for training operators also coming from other countries, CoEEP develops modular and interdisciplinary programmes focused on key sustainability and environmental security issues.

In the 2026-2027 Italian Defence training catalogue, the Centre is listed with a wide-ranging programme including courses on climate change, restoration of fire-affected areas, management and requalification of priority habitats, conservation in protected areas, biodiversity protection, air pollution monitoring and carbon neutrality strategies.

The practical dimension of this activity is also confirmed by courses already held or scheduled in Sabaudia, such as Wildlife law enforcement, environmental management and biodiversity assessment and Environmental protection and restoration in post-conflict or crisis areas, highlighting CoEEP’s commitment to specialized, applied and internationally oriented training.
