The Centre of Excellence for Environmental Protection in Sabaudia will be one of the key venues of the European LIFE TraiN2K project, an initiative focused on improving the management of the Natura 2000 network and the ecological restoration of natural habitats. As part of the project, CoEEP will host a European training school featuring classroom lessons, e-learning activities and demonstration exercises in Italian and European Natura 2000 sites. The four-year programme, funded with 1.5 million euros, brings together nine international partners and also aims to train new professional figures specialized in environmental protection.
